ich hoffe, dass es unter euch jmd. gibt der kurz mein Coverletter korrekturlesen kann.Desweiteren bitte ich um weitere Tipps.
Dies ist eine Initiativbewerbung für eine Praktikumsstelle in den Staaten, bei der mein Bruder tätig ist.

I am writing to apply myself for an internship in your company and I would like to submit this application with my resume attached in PDF.
I am student of economics and business administration from Germany. After studying five years at the Bergische Universität Wuppertal, I am going to write my diploma thesis in October 2008. After three month I will finish my diploma thesis and I seek an internship for six month, beginning in February, during the marking period.
During my studies I developed a strong interest in human resources. The focal point of my study is “international management” and an internship at your multinational company would be a very important step for my personal goal to work for an international oriented company.
On the basis of my compliance, natural curiosity and interpersonal skills, I am sure that I could make a useful contribution to your company.
As a native German speaker I can say that my command of the English language is ever improving. Recently, I signed up for a course in Business English. I am confident that my language and communication skills will be adequate for working at your company.
My J-1 cultural exchange visa, which will be sponsored by Inwent/CDS International based in New York, entitles me to work legally in the United States as a student intern. Also, I will have my own health and accident insurance.
