Ich würde gerne in Erfahrung bringen, ob jemand als Mitarbeiter oder vermittelte Person Michael Page kennt und zu diesem Unternehmen was sagen kann.

MP is the Mac Donalds of the Recruiters. That not to say they are better ir worse than any others. It needs to be understood that in the UK & the US people change jobs much quicker than here in Germany and for that reason Co like MP/ Hays/ Robert Half/ PSD etc have tuned their business model to serve this requirement.
For this reason they can and do offer a suitable service for anyone from „Absolvent“ bis 3-5 yrs job experience. After that they loose their edge/ effectiveness.
To work there; well first let them interview you for another job, they will decide if they would prefer you for themselves… Oh and dint forget they are a UK Co so that means low basic salary and long hours and high targets!

- It depends what you are looking for in your first job?
By MP you will learn very quickly how to sell (never a bad thing) in „sales“, recruitment is call the „Suprime discipline“ königsdisziplin)as you dont only have to „sell“ to the „client“ but also to the „candidate“ - it hard work but can be very rewarding
You will also learn to „research“, find suitable candidates from their data base and/ or online platforms such as Xing or Linked-in etc
You will also learn to work under pressure of targets and expectations - MP dont have a clear-cut bonus scheme its more a merit-based system but if you cut it after a few yrs you will be ready to move on to other areas of the sales business or into HR/ personalwesen depending on your qualifications and individual career expactations.
My humble advice would be; if you aren’t sure what you want to do as a job and need to get started fast, then try it out. MP is a fun place to work for the right people- lots of parties and events and you’ll learn a lot very quickly - just be aware that the money isnt that stunning and the bonuses aren’t guaranteed…
Q. Where will you be working; Dü/ FFM or Stuttgart? and in which field: S&M/ Finance/ Banking ??

It would be Munich and Accounting/Finance (but originally I studied Business Adminstraion with the main focus on HR and Marketing/Sales)

Die einen sind eher Makler / Vermittler mit Massengeschäft, die ausschliesslich auf Erffolgsbasis Provision erhalten, die anderen „Trusted Advisors“, die sich den Aufwand vergüten lassen. Demzufolge gibt es oft riesige qualitative Unterschiede, wie mit Kunden und Kandidaten umgegegangen wird…

Michael Page ist einer der Großen in der Republik.
Die Erfahrungsberichte von Kandidaten sind sehr unterscheidlich - eher aber zurückhaltend bis negativ.
Bewerber werden als Masse bearbeitet.
Individualität ist gering.
Zu den Berichten bzgl. Seriosität darf ich keine Auskunbft geben.
Was ich jedem nur alggemein empfehlen kann ist, den Personalberater dazu zu verpflichten, den eigenen CV nur mit Einverständnis weiter zu geben, ansonsten werden diese ohne Wissen des Kandidaten quer durch das Land geschickt, frei nach dem Motto, kann den jemand brauchen??
