Mittelamerika
Von: , Frage gestellt am Do, 27. Nov 2008
Hallo,
I spoke with that colleague of mine I mentioned the other day. She knows Latin America pretty well and advised against Mexico because the nice areas like e.g. Yucatan but also the known spots at the Pacific Coast are extremely touristy. Huge hotel complexes, lots of Americans and rip-offs everywhere. She recommended Costa Rica, Belize or Cuba instead.
All of theses countries are beautiful. In Belize English is the national language which has advantages but is perhaps a bit boring too. Look at some pictures: http://images.google.de/images?hl=de&q=belize&btnG=B...
What do you think? We should pick one of these three countries and find us a nice place. My ideal is a place with moderate tourism, i.e. with the necessary infrastructure but not the stupid hordes from the north. I don't want to see this kind of people we have seen in the waterpark. Some elite travelers with the right spirit, relaxed, young, beautiful, friendly, flirtatious and easy-going from all over the world would be fun. People who don't pick the well known and notorious places in Mexico but choose carefully the more secluded ones. And curious native girls have to be there too :-). I imagine a beach resort that is close to a city. From there you can explore the hinterland, jungle and cultural sites such as Mayan remains.
Viele Grüße, Tychi
