Hallo,
gerade habe ich ein WindowsXP, SP2 installiert und wollte natürlich als erstes ein Update starten, um die ganzen Patches, Bugfixes, etc. seit SP2 runterzuladen.
Zunächst hat Windows dann das Update Programm selbst auf v6 aktualisiert. Jetzt habe ich Probleme, da der Rechner nur via Proxy ins Internet kommt, Windows update dafür aber anscheinend zu doof ist.
Wenn man den alten Trick ausprobiert, und „proxycfg -u“ aufruft, gibt es eine Fehlermeldung: „error writing proxy settings. (87) The parameter is incorrect“. Dabei listet die Parameterliste ihn durchaus auf:

Ich habe dann per „proxyconf -p“ versucht, den Proxy von Hand einzustellen, das hat aber auch nichts gebracht. Ich bekomme beim update immer die Meldung:
„The website has encountered a problem and cannot display the page you are trying to view. The options provided below might help you solve the problem.“
So, wie nun weiter?
