Wort Uni Satz typ Thesis Company

Hallo,

im Abstract meiner Thesis steht folgender Satz (hier mit Kontext):

Several model simulations show how attempts by companies to shorten the product life cycle can harm a company’s bottom line. Even though sales may rise, profits decrease in all simulation runs. The impact of the product life cycle acceleration on profits is disillusioning to a company’s expectations. This thesis shows managers that acceleration cannot be a goal in itself and can seriously harm the company.

Ich hätte dazu ein paar Fragen:

a) Klingt das gut? Kann man an das disillusioning so einfach "to a company's expectations" dranhängen? Meine Schwester und der Typ vom Writing Centre unserer Uni meinen beide das geht, ich kann mich damit allerdings noch nicht anfreunden.

b) Ist "disillusioning" akademisch genug?? Ist eine Bachelor Thesis. Es passt eigentlich sehr schön, weil der Gewinn runter geht obwohl man vielleicht das Gegenteil hätte erwarten können.

c) Wie ist der letzte Satz? Ich wollte noch einen "punchy" Schlusssatz... ist das gut genug?

Ich würde mich über eine schnelle Antwort sehr freuen, da ich meine Thesis noch heute abend drucken möchte ;o) Irgendwie waren Abstract und Conclusion das schwerste... aber jetzt bin ich fast fertig ;o)

     I think I would use "for" instead of "to".

   das kommt drauf an, was Du sagen möchtest - von der Grammatik/ Logik wäre es schon in Ordnung.
   Würde ich Dir diesmal wieder den Sinn verdrehen, wenn ich den folgenden Vorschlag mache?

         Hallo Isabel! Naja, Pech gehabt! Oder auch nicht - Du scheinst ja sehr
         glücklich zu sein, dieses Teil endlich loszuwerden.
         Naaaaaa... so ist das nun auch nicht :o) Aber ich sitz' da jetzt gut drei Monate dran, und so lange soll das ja auch dauern. Irgendwan muss man doch auch mal den Schlussstrich ziehen, oder nicht? Ich werde durchaus in Zukunft nochmal was zu dem Thema machen, evtl. sogar in der Richtung promovieren. Interessieren tuts mich nämlich sehr! Congratulations!
