Muscheln: Taxodontes/heterodontes Schloss

Huhu Ihrs!

Ich schreibe (wie üblich um diese Zeit) bald ne Klausur über Zooloische Bestimmungsübungen.

Und in meinen Aufzeichnungen steht irgendwo, das Bivalvia taxodonte oder heterodonte Schlösser besitzen können.

Kann mir irgendwer sagen, was zum Geier taxodont und heterodont bedeuten, oder ob ich mich da verschrieben habe?

Weder bei Google noch in meinen Büchern konnte ich was darüber finden.

Das wundert mich aber, Philipp!
schon der zweite Eintrag bei Google gibt doch eine klare Beschreibung:

und der Dritte Eintrag bringt folgende Liste:

here are 8 types of dentition these are:

  1. Taxodont
    Short chevron shaped teeth, which radiate out wards.
  2. Achinodont
    The mirror image of Taxodont but the teeth radiate in a different way.
  3. Schizodont
    These are found only in the superfamily Trigoniacea. They are very large with parallel grooves normal to the axis of the tooth. They also have strong bumpy ridges.
  4. Heterodont
    Cardinal and lateral beneath the Umbo. There are 2 different types, Lucinoid - a central tooth on the left hand valve and Cyrenoid, - a central tooth on the right hand valve.
  5. Pachydont
    This type of dentition only occurs in Rudest bivalves. These are very large teeth, which are heavy and blunt.
  6. Isodont
    A symmetrical arrangement of the teeth and sockets. They are very large and located on either side of the central ligament pit. They are characteristic of only one family the Anomiacea.
  7. Dysodont
    Small simple teeth found near the edge of the valve.
  8. Desomdont
    A common form of a hinge structure in which the teeth are very reduced or absent.

Da hatte ich wohl ein echtes Brett vorm Kopf.
(Ich hasse Leute, die dumme Fragen stellen. Und jetzt stelle ich selber eine.)

Mal rein interessehalber: Ich habe mit heterodont taxodont bivalvia gesucht.
Was waren deine Suchbegriffe?

das hat man schon mal, dieses berühmte Brett vor dem Kopf.
„taxodont“ war mein Suchbegriff. Allerdings liegt es wohl auch an der Einstellung bei Google, ob Du nur Deutsch suchst oder die Welt zuläßt :smile:
Der erste Treffer übrigens ist natürlich daneben: ein Versandhandel.
Egal, ich denke jetzt kommst Du klar?

die Welt zuläßt :smile:

Wenn man im Deutschen Sprachraum sucht, bekommt man den Versandhandel, dann noch einen Versandhandel, und dann ein Word-Dokument, das ich nicht öffnen kann.

Wenn man „worldwide“ einschaltet, dann findet man plötzlich furchtbar viel.

Ich hatte einfach erwartet, das man, wenn man schon die englische Eingabemaske benutzt, dann auch englische Treffer bekommt.

Egal, ich denke jetzt kommst Du klar?
