ich suche den songtext von mensch (herbert grönemeyer) auf english. Ich finde einfach nichts in den Suchmaschinen.
Vielleicht habe ich hier Glück.

Die Übersetzung war wie gesagt nicht von mir, aber im deutschen Original von Herbert heisst es zum Schluss "...und der Mensch ist Mensch (...) weil er lacht, weil er lebt, du fehlst..."
Das "er" wurde wohl umgangssprachlich einfach in "man" übersetzt, bezogen auf den Mensch vorher, also kein Grund sich zu wundern.
"Mensch" heisst ja genau genommen auch "human beeing", was wohl in keinem Songtext vorkommt.
