Frankie Goes To Hollywood
Habe mal einen Mini-Auschnitt von dieser Trevor Horn-Geburtstagsgala gesehen, aber war zu kurz, um irgendwelche Schlüsse daraus zu ziehen. Kann aber eigentlich -wie immer bei sowas- nur eine furchtbar peinliche Sache werden, und das Bandfoto ist ja auch eher äh…

Mich wundert nur, daß es lt. Band Bio am 11.11.04 ein Konzert im Wembley Stadion gegeben haben soll, aber seitdem ist anscheinend nichts weiter passiert?
(OK OK, Frankie habe ich damals leider nur in der winzigen D’dorfer Philipshalle sehen können, aber dafür war ich 86 bei Queen in Wembley… :smile:)

Habe in meiner Anfängerphase 3 Autounfälle gehabt (danach nie wieder) - jedesmal mit „Welcome To The Pleasuredome“. Das ging ja auch nur laut!
Immerhin war ich in den 80ern so dekadent, mal eben nach London zu eiern um am Picadilly Circus Frankie Maxis zu kaufen die es in Deutschland oder Japan nicht gab. Ich hatte von jeder Maxi zig Versionen und noch heute ca. 20 FGTH CDs. Ich bin ein Angeber, ich weiss - aber ein Stolzer :smile:)

Das reicht ja eigentlich schon, um das Allerschlimmste zu befürchten!

Ohne Holly kann es kein FGTH geben, das ist schon klar. Obwohl

nach wie vor klasse, aber außer Legendary Children und Atomic

Habe vor ca. 2 Jahren alle Vinyl-Maxis bei eBay versteigert
(u.a. auch die 16 min. Promo-Version von Relax), hat sich
nicht wirklich gelohnt :frowning:

Übrigens passt mir sogar noch mein „Frankie say RELAX Don’t do
it“-Shirt. Ja, das lebt noch!!!

OK, über diese schrecklichen Techno-Mixe, die ab 2000 rauskamen, müssen wir nicht reden, schon klar. Aber „Ultra Rare Trax“, „Aftershow 1 + 2“, „The Beginning & The End“, „On The Way To Hollywood“, „Live In Modena“ und „Bang!“ sind alle zwischen '83 und '89 erschienen, also schon Original Mixe (u.a. mit Gary Moore und Bronski Beat).

Aber hey - erwähnte ich schon, dass ich den Song „Disneyland“
