Hi!

Auch auf die Gefahr hin, dass ich wegen eines Massenthreads gesteinigt werde…

Gibt es bei Euch auch Zeilen aus Liedern, die man - einmal gehört - irgendwie nie vergisst?

Bei mir isses im Moment:

Bon Jovi - Never Say Goodbye
„Remember when you lost your keys, and you lost more than that on my backseats“ (hehe)

und

Purple Schulz - Was kann das Leben sein
„Alles nur Mutantenstadlmief, die Sonne der Kultur steht tief“

Komisch ist, dass ich beide Lieder ewig nicht gehört habe…

Hi Guido,

jedesmal wenn ich nach Norwegen fahre (relativ oft) und auf der Fähre von Kiel nach Oslo oder umgekehrt auf’s Klo gehe, springt mir obiges Wort in die Augen (ist ja auch so gedacht, man soll halt nix in die Fährenklos werfen) und ich bin nicht in der Lage, mich der Knopfdruckwirkung dieses Wortes zu entziehen.

Ich muß dann - meistens lauthals - das Lied von Queen anstimmen:

„Don’t try suicide, nobody’s worth it
Don’t try suicide, nobody cares…“

Immer wieder, jedes Jahr, ohne Ausnahme…

Immer wieder beruhigend…
…das auch Anglophile und sogar Native Speaker diese Probleme haben.
Man sollte sich aber auch mal vor Augen bz.w Ohren führen, was man z.B. bei Grönemeyer alles hören kann.
Mein persönlicher Falschversteher-Favorit ist aber „Deja Vu“ von Spliff. Als das Lied damals 'rauskam und öfter mal im Radio lief, habe ich den Text 'rausgeschrieben. Ich hatte alles zusammen bis auf den Refrain bzw. Titel, und statt „Deja Vu“ hieß „mein“ Song eben „Isabell“. Erschien mir auch einleuchtend… :smile:

Also, wenn man sich kisstheguy anguckt, dann ist man schon beruhigt, dass auch andere das Problem haben, eigentlich eindeutig zu verstehende Zeilen völlig abwegig zu verstehen. Klar hört sich das nicht wie „Isabell“ an, aber wenn man sich das einmal in den Kopf gesetzt hat… :wink:
