E-Mail ohne Absenderadresse?! (Spammail)

Hallo MitleserInnen,

ich habe heute nacht eine Spammail erhalten, die mir Rätsel aufgibt, denn als ich mir den Header anschaute, sah ich eigentlich… nichts! Ich stelle die Mail mal hier - Domainnamen etwas verfremdet - hinein:

Tja, unsere Seite muss dem Spammer wirklich „sehr“ gefallen haben, denn auf ihr ist noch nichts drauf! Aber im Ernst: Wie kann man eine solche Person bzw. den Weg der E-Mail zurückverfolgen? Ist mir heute zum ersten Mal passiert, dass ein Header so wenig hergab.

Danke für Deine Antwort, Sebastian. Ich bin technisch nicht so versiert, aber es hat mich schon sehr gewundert, dass ein Header auch so aussehen kann.

streng genommen ist das, was in „From“ und „To“ steht absolut egal. Ich kann Dir problemlos eine Mail schreiben, die (angeblich) von Dir stammt und an mich gerichtet ist… oder von Bill Gates an Frhr.v.Gravenreuth.

Für den eigentlichen Mailversand sind Header da, die „am Ziel“ gelöscht werden, von denen Du also gar nichts mitbekommst. Die Headerzeilen, die Dein Mailclient anzeigt, haben im Grunde nur informativen Charakter.
