Probleme beim Update Ubuntu 8.04->10.04

Hallo allerseits,

Starting up ...
mount: mounting none on /dev failed: No such device
udevd[873]: error getting socket: Invalid argument

error initializing netlink socket
udevd[873]: initializing netlink socket

Gave up waiting for root device. Common problems:
- Boot args (cat /proc/cmdline)
 - Check rootdelay= (did the system wait long enough?)
 - Check root= (did the system wait for the right device?)
- Missing modules (cat /proc/modules; ls /dev)
ALERT! /dev/disk/by-uuid/c7c6fb54-1acd-4602-ad62-08447e4ad924 does not exist. Dropping to a shell!

BusyBox v1.13.3 (Ubuntu 1:1.13.3-1ubuntu11) built-in shell (ash)
Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands.

(initramfs)

root conf scripts sbin sys tmp

Bin grad total ratlos.

Vielen Dank schonmal.

Gruß x303

Hi,

kernel (hd0,4)/b

dasteht und dann tab drücken. Sollte das funktionieren, dann zu

kernel (hd0,4)/boot/vmlinuz-2.6.xxx root=/dev/sda5 vga=791

vervollständigen, und in der initrd-Zeile

initrd (hd0,4)/boot/initrd.img-2.6.xxx

update-grub

aus, evtl. vorher noch

grub-install /dev/sda

ausführen. Dann

apt-get -f install

Ciao Lutz

Dankeschön für die Antwort.

Ich habe mein Problem wie folgt gelöst:

-Image runtergeladen und gebrannt.
-Live-CD gestartet.

man xorg.conf

man xorg.conf

enthält, wie die Konfiguration zusammengesucht wird.

Führe

sudo grep -C4 (EE) /var/log/Xorg.0.log

hier bekomme ich die Fehlermeldung:

bash: Syntaxfehler beim unerwarteten Wort `('

-AGP
-DVI-Ausgang (damit ich die vollen 1920x1200 fahren kann)
-wenn möglich passiv gekühlt
-Starcraft 2 muss drauf laufen (braucht wohl Vertex Shader 2 oder so ähnlich)

Vielen Dank schonmal!!!

Halllo,

sudo grep -C4 (EE) /var/log/Xorg.0.log

hier bekomme ich die Fehlermeldung:

bash: Syntaxfehler beim unerwarteten Wort `(’

sudo grep -C4 "(EE)" /var/log/Xorg.0.log

HTH,

Sebastian

Hi,

http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1161106

Section „Monitor“
Identifier „Monitor0“
VendorName „Samsung“
HorizSync 30.0 - 81.0
VertRefresh 56.0 - 75.0
Option „DPMS“
EndSection

Section „Screen“
Identifier „Screen0“
Device „Device0“
Monitor „Monitor0“
Option „TwinView“ „FALSE“
Option „ModeDebug“ „TRUE“
DefaultDepth 24
EndSection

http://forum.ubuntuusers.de/topic/samsung-syncmaster…
