Hallo Kollegen,
ich habe eine P3 700MHZ (glaube bei Aldi gekauft *grins) und brauche jetzt nen Award-Bios-Upgrade da ich eine zweite 80GB Platte einbauen wollte aber leider das Bios zu alt zu sein scheint ;-(. Ich habe das Web rauf und runter gesucht aber leider kein passendes Bios-Upgrade gefunden. Habt Ihr noch eine Idee oder könnt vielleicht helfen?

habe mal mit der Bios ID bei google gesucht schau mal auf diesem Link vorbei dort sagt jemand das es ein MSI Board wäre.

hier sind 2 Links von MSI kannst ja mal da vorbeischauen falls es wie dein Board aussieht musst du noch die version nachsehen ob 1.0 oder 2.0

hoffe ich konnte ein bissl helfen . Frage hast du mal das Tool AIDA32 getestet da kann man auch (manchmal) sehen welcher Hersteller es ist.

habe denk ich mal eine site gefunden welche eigentlich bestätigt das es ein MSI board ist (MS-6156VA)
In der Zeile BIOS (default Settings) steht die gleiche Bios ID wie bei deinem Board.

habe mir die Seiten angeschaut. Hab meinen PC mal aufgeschraubt-leider kann ich nicht unterscheiden ob es sich um ein MSI V1.0 od V2.0 handelt. Weiß jemand woran man das erkennt?

bin mir nicht ganz sicher aber glaube das müsste beim Hochfahren kurz gezeigt werden. Wenn der RAM hochgezählt wird kurz vorher oder nachher. Musst mal drauf achten was da alles so steht kannst es mit „Pause“ glaub ich auch anhalten und genau nachlesen.

mmh, so richtig sicher bin ich mir nicht welche version des boards das ist. Gibt es da ein Tool womit man das exact rausbekommt. Das Problem ist ja-passt das Bios-Upgrade nicht zum Board kann ich mich ja vom Rechner verabschieden ;-(. Oder gibs da vielleicht ne Hotline bei MSI in Deutschland?

mit dem Tool AIDA32 oder SiSoftware Sandra Standard könnte es klappen das das Board erkannt wird. Sonst versuch mal bei MSI anzurufen.
