Bootproblem und Dummheit

Hallo zusammen,

Mein System:
hda => zwei Win Partitionen; eine SuSe Partition; eine Home Partition
hdb => zwei Linuxpartitionen

Ich wollte heiute auf meine zweite Linuxpartition auf hdb eine neue Distro ausprobieren, leider ist bei der installation irgendwas schief gegangen, ich kann es leider nicht mehr korrekt nachvollziehen, man sollte sich halt etws mehr Zeit lassen.

Problem meine SuSe auf hda bootet nun nicht mehr korrekt und bringt mir folgende Meldung:

fsck failed for at least one filesystem (not /)
Pleace repair manually and reboot
The root file system is allready mounted read-write

Attention: Only CONTROL-D will reboot the system in this maintanance mode.
shutdown or reboot will not work.
Give root password for login: Device not ready. Make sure there is a disc in the drive

Was kann ich tun um meine SuSE wieder korrekt zu booten?

Gib das root passwort ein.
nun probier #fsck /dev/hda oder #e2fsck /dev/hda und verfolge den Check auf dem Schirm.
Am Ende sollte eine Meldung kommen wie „hope it’s ok to reboot“ dann reboote die Kiste und bete.

den Check auf dem Schirm.

Also ich weiss nicht was SuSE am fsck 'rumgepfuscht hat, aber unter Debian liefer ein fsck auf eine ganze Festplatte und nicht auf einzelne Partionen nur Fehlermeldungen…

nicht auf einzelne Partionen nur Fehlermeldungen…

uups,richtig er muß fsck natürlich die richtige SuSE Partition mitgeben /dev/hdax

Hmm, weisst Du wie du deine SuSE konfiguriert hast? Hat die die Partitionen auf hdb mitbenutzt?
Im Zweifelsfall als root einloggen und die /etc/fstab ansehen.
Wenn dem tatsächlich so war, würde ich die Susi neu installieren.
