kann man sinnvollerweise für Höhere Handelsschule Commercial School gleichsetzen ? Falls es in England überhaupt etwas vergleichbares gibt.
Nebenfrage: Wie lange kann man sich nach Erscheinen einer Stellenanzeige im englischen Raum noch bewerben ? Ich denke 14 Tage dürften noch angemessen sein.

leider sind die anglikanischen Schulsysteme zu unterschiedlich um hier eine Übersetzung finden zu können. Du kannst höchstens den deutschen Namen der Schule nennen und die Ausbildung dort beschreiben.
Bewerben: im Zweifelsfall IMMER bewerben, egal wie lange es her ist.

the english and german scool-systems are too different for comparison. I would recommend to name the german name of the shool and then describe the educational facts.
in case of doubt allways send your forms! no matter how much time past.

Hi Peter,
habe ich mir schon gedacht, dass es in England resp. Irland kein Äquivalent gibt. Wie drücke ich es am besten aus. Hatte dort die Fächer Betriebswirtschaftliches Rechnungswesen und noch zahlreiche andere Fächer wie Politik, Mathematik, Organsiation/Wirtschaftsinformatik.
Für die Bewerbung ist eigentlich nur Rechnungswesen relevant.

EDV ist deutsch und wird wohl in englischen Begriffen nicht vorkommen. Leider weiß ich’s auch nicht, tippe aber eher in Richtung „computer aided economic sciences“ oder so…
Und „atmost“ muß „utmost“ heißen, der Satz klingt aber auch irgendwie holprig. Vielleicht kommt ja noch einer der Muttersprachler zu Hilfe…

som fellow remindet me, that the correct english abbrevation for the german term „informatik“ is oc: „IT“! My mistake - I´m awfully sorry. It was due to the fact, that I first tried to write in german and then in english, so I incidently wrote the german abbrevation „EDV“.
I hope that didn´t bother you in your affort to make an application!
