Offensichtlich muß das entsprechende Skript jeden Tag aufgerufen werden, damit die E-Mails auch versendet werden.

Cron-Jobs sind unter Unix kleine Skripts (in Bash, Perl, …), welche in bestimmten Zyklen aufgerufen werden. Für die Beschreibung unter einer Unix-Maschine „man 5 crontab“ eingeben.
