ich bräuchte dringend das Äquivalent vom deutschen Begriff „Ölzahl“ auf englisch. Gibt es das überhaupt?

Hallo Frank,

das wäre dann „oil absorption“ angegeben in g/100g. Manchmal sieht man auch den Ausdruck „Oil index“.

Oil absorption value:
This is the number of grams of oil needed to bind 100 g of pigment into a coherent paste. The amount greatly depends on the way the oil is incor-porated. Consequently the test results can be very scattered. Values observed are only comparable if they are obtained by the same tester using the same method in quick succession.The determination is carried out in accordance with DIN ISO 787-5.
