ich bin bei Arcor und ärgere mich unglaublich darüber, daß die Verbindung zigmal am Tag getrennt wird. Nicht wie eigentlich vertraglich vereinbart einmal in 24 Stunden, sondern deutlich öfter. Kann mir jemand einen Provider nennen, der keine Zwankstrennung hat, ggf. auch mit einer etwas hörheren Gebühr?
first of all: why do you think it is a forced disconnect by your provider and not a bug or error in your own system implementation?
If you are indeed sure it really IS a disconnect by Arcor, have you asked their technical support why that is done? Maybe their hardware and/or software has a problem and they don’t know it yet?
Last not least: Why is a disconnect (even 10 times in 24 hours – 1 every 2.4 hours) such a big problem? You can have a dial on demand for outgoing data and a watchdog software for incomming connections (webserver etc.), allthough bringing your own server 24/7 into the web was clearly not the original intention of a DSL flatrate and I am not even sure, if that is permitted within your DSL contract with Arcor.
