_Customs checks are done at ports of entry. Upon entry you are due to declare everything you are bringing into the country. Duty free items are those of personal use (clothing, cosmetics, books, etc).
Non-residents may bring in the following items duty free: gifts up to US$100, 1 liter of spirits, 0.05 liters of perfume, 0.5 kg of coffee or tea, and 1 carton of cigarettes.
Weapons and ammunitions are prohibited from being brought into the country. Hunting weapons being brought for a prearranged hunting expedition must be accompanied by the appropriate documentation or permit.
Cameras, video-recorders, transferable radios, and the like, must be registered at the port of entry and upon your departure from Croatia.
In order to bring in pets, you will be asked to present a valid yellow international health passport and a certificate of vaccination.
Payment of duty is done at the port of entry in Croatian kunas (KN). Credit cards cannot be used to make duty payments. It is wise to keep receipts until your departure. If the article is a gift, give the receipt to the receiver._

Tessa hat dir ja schon geschrieben. Nun ich habe einen ziemlich neuen Reiseführer (deutsches Produkt)und da steht drinnen:
Geschenke bis zu einem Wert von DEM 100.–!!
Also, ich würde mich da bei einer Botschaft erkundigen, vielleicht hat es Neuerungen gegeben.
Ich möchte dich auf keinen Fall verunsichern nur eben wie Tessa einen Ratschlag geben.
