hallo leute!
elegy to marilyn
Please don’t criticise her way of life.
For you could never hope to guess,
at who she really was.
And what she really felt about
The world in which she lived, a plastic cristal ball
In whitch she stood alone, and naked…
For the whole wide world and you and i to see.
In the day time of my live she was
In the night-time of my dreames she was near.
Nowyou who stand around, and dissect her.
Just to satisfy your idle curiosity about someone
Who always seemed unreal
Try to remember, that she could laugh
and cry like you and I.
And why, should that seem too strange for her,
A girl like her to do?
In the day time of my live she was,
In the night-time of my dreames she was near.
I would cry for you girl,
except that now i know your passing
Was the only thing that live had not yet stolen,
something personal and private of your own.
You were a young girl,
trying to live a life so free,
And full of good things,
to taste the rich, and who am I to say.
In the day time of my live she was,
In the night-time of my dreames she was near.
bedanke mich schon mal.
grüße,
stefano
