ich hab mal wieder Probleme bei einem Interview (Quelle: Cineblitz, Oktober 2006), genauer gesagt bei einer Frage. Zum Verständnis die ganze Frage:
Are these standards here to stay? Do you think the Hindi film industry is gradually changing like other things in the country? Louis Vuitton is here and so is the American corporatisation. Not forgetting the mall and multiplex culture. Or do you think we are to firmly entrenched in our own ways of making movies for any significant change?
Das einzige, woran ich hadere ist das Wort „corporatisation“? Ich kann mir zwar in etwa vorstellen, was gemeint ist, allerdings finde ich das Wort in keinem Wörterbuch. Was heißt es konkret übersetzt oder kann es sein, dass sich hier jemand vertippt hat? (Ich hab beim Tippen 2x hingeschaut, ob ich es ja auch richtig geschrieben haben!)

Also „Umwandlung einer staatlichen Stelle in eine private Rechtsform, wobei das Eigentum in der öffentlichen Hand verbleibt“. Ähnlich wie Privatisierung (Übergabe des Eigentums an einer Organisation von der öffentlichen Hand an eine private, erwerbswirtschaftliche Organisation). Für „corporatisation“ gibt es kein griffiges deutsches Wort, es bleibt oft so stehen oder wird als „Korporatisierung“ eingedeutscht.

danke für die Erklärung! Ich denke wohl manchmal immer noch zu kompliziert bzw. zu einseitig, um nur in Wörterbüchern zu kucken und nicht gleich noch zu googlen! Werd’s mir merken
