Hallo. Wer möchte wie schon oben erwähnt, meinen geschriebenen englischen Text Korrektur lesen und eventuell korrigieren. Wäre nett! Danke schon mal im vorraus :smile:

The dispute between the Coffee farmers and Starbucks were strongly adversely affected the reputation of the company. In 2005 the Ethiopian government filed at the Patent Office in Japan, the European Union, in Canada and in the USA the petition for legal protection of names of the three cultivation regions “Sidamo”, “Harar” and “Yirgacheffe”. But Starbucks was beat the government. Already 1 year before, the company had let protect the name „Shirkina Sun-dried Sidamo“. The Ethiopian government asked Starbucks to withdraw the petition and proposed talks, but Starbucks refused. In 2006 Starbucks withdrew his petition unexpected, but at the same time Americas largest (biggest) Coffee Association NCA (National Coffee Association) appealed.

But Starbucks beat the Government. One year previously the company had already had the name „Shirkina Sundried Sidamo“ protected. The Ethiopian Government asked Starbucks to withdraw the petition and proposed talks, but Starbucks refused. In 2006 Starbucks unexpectedly withdrew their petition, but at the same time America’s largest (biggest) coffee association NCA (National Coffee Association) appealed.

Either biggest or largest is suitable in this context.
