Hallo, bitte verbessert mir irgendwer diesen Text, danke,danke danke

Shopping in London
Last weekend I visited London. I get by plaine, it takes me one hour. I would by a present for my girlfriend. In London I saw a lot of shops for instance fashion and technology shops. I went into a lot of shops, but they were very expensive. I bought a lot of gadgets, then I met my oldy friend Peter, he showed me a small shop with presents, that was my favourite shop. I spend € 300 for all the gadgets and the present. Peter helped me with my shopping bag, I thougt I have got ten bags. For god sake there weren’t any problems.

Last weekend * I visited London. I went by plane, it takes me one hour. I want to buy a present for my girlfriend. In London I saw a lot of shops for instance fashion and technology shops. I went into a lot of shops, but they were very expensive.

I bought a lot of gadgets, then I met my old friend Peter, he showed me a small shop with presents, that was my favourite shop. I spend 300 € for all the gadgets and the present. Peter helped me with my shopping bags, I thougt I have ten bags. Thank God there weren’t any problems.

* also simple past!

fühle nur ich mich veräppelt, wenn in den letzten fünf mails vier von „mario 23“ mit irgendwelchen wünschen zur verbesserung seines erbärmlichen englischs auftreten?

Er könnte zwischendurch aber mal „Thank you ever so much“ sagen. Das gehört zum Englischlernen auch dazu - interkulturelle Kompetenz =)

but that’s a different use of „spend“

I spent the money on a pair of jeans - in the end, the jeans are mine, I gave the money away for (sic) a pair of jeans.

Money spent well for us - I spent the money on something, and the effect of that purchase was good for us - I did not buy „us“.

@Das erste Wort des Brieftextes wird - unabhängig ob nach der Anrede (US oder GB Schreibweise) das Komma, der Doppelpunkt oder kein Zeichen gesetzt wurde - groß geschieben.

Money spent well for us - I spent the money on something, and
the effect of that purchase was good for us - I did not buy
„us“.

I went into a lot of shops, but they were very expensive. I

shop. I spent € 300 [in London haben wird nicht mit Euro bezahlt, sondern mit Britischen Pfund!] on all the gadgets and the present. Peter
helped me with my shopping bag, I thought I had got ten bags.
For god sake there weren’t any problems.

PS: Ich habe nur die schlimmsten Fehler behoben, aber der Text selbst hört sich immer noch nicht wirklich gut an…
