Hi!

Gut gemacht, ich habe noch etwas korrigiert.

Hello (kein Komma)

Today I (I immer groß…)would like to speak about the book “Simple“.

I will give you some information about the author first:

Marie-Aude Murail was born in Paris in 1954. She is a French author who writes children’s books.
She married Pierre Robert in 1973 they have three children and live in Orleans. Marie has been writing since she was twelve. Up to now she has written more than eighty children’s books.
One of these books is “Simple”, it was published in 2004.
For the German version of “Simple”, translated by Tobias Scheffel, she received the a German literary award the „Deutscher Jugendliteraturpreis“. Her most famous book is ‚‚Oh Boy!‘‘

And now I will tell you something about the book and its plot.

Simple is a handicapped person. His real name is Barnabé Maluri, he’s twenty-two years old and he lives in Paris with his younger brother Colbert who is seventeen years old.
Simple’s real mental age is three. However Simple is anything but simple.
He speaks with his rabbit-teddy whose name is Monsieur Hasehase.

He likes to play with Playmobil and he is also able to count very fast, for example: seven, nine, twelve, B, one thousand, one hundred.

His younger brother Colbert took him out of an asylum.
He can’t be at home because the father and his wife don’t like him.
But Colbert tried to do the impossible: he takes his brother with him to Paris. He wants to go to school with Simple and support him.

They actually find a room-mate with four other students, but it doesn’t take long until the first problems occur.
For example when simple forgets his teddy at church. Simple knows the way to the church but he doesn’t know the way back to his room-mates.
So eventually he gets lost and Colbert has no idea where he is…

Although Simple causes a lot of trouble and problems, Colbert still loves him.

But how long will this work out?

Viel Erfolg und liebe Grüße

1 „Gefällt mir“

heißt es nun romm mate oder flat share?

Hi

es heißt room mate, wenn Du WG Bewohner meinst.

Flat share = Wohnung teilen.
