Ich habe ein Problem, weil 2 Professoren jeweils eine andere Loesung zu Bsp. gegeben haben.
Es geht um Englische Personalpronomen. Es werden „subjective case“ (I, we, you, he/she/it, they) und „objective case“ (me, us, you, him/her/it, them) unterschieden:
Subj. case forms are used when
a pronoun functions as Subject of a finite clause
a pronoun funtions as a Complement to the Subject in fromal style.
Obj. case forms are used when
a pronoun functions as Direct or Indirect object, or when it follows a preposition
a pronoun functions as Complement to the Subject in informal style
a pronoun functions as Subject of an exclamative non-finite or verbless clause
Die betroffenen Saetze lauten:
Who’s there? It’s only ____ and my friend (me oder I)
The best bargains are always bought by ___ who can pay the most (he oder him)
It was ___ we were talking about (he oder him)
Do you think you are stronger than ___ (me oder I)
Which is your friend? What, him? I thought he was a big chap like ____. (me, I , I am??)

Obwohl ich mir bei 2. nicht ganz sicher bin. Im umgekehrten Falle wuerde ich naemlich sagen: He who can pay the most always buys the best bargains.
Aber vielleicht kann Dir da ja wer anders weiterhelfen?

Weder noch: man soll „my friend and I“ (auch!: „my friend
and me“) sagen.
ja, das haben wir auch immer gelernt: man soll sich selbst nie zuerst nennen (egal in welcher Sprache). Aber so wie es hier oben steht, steht es im UEbungsbuch… ts ts ts, wie soll man es dann richtig lernen?
