Sookie insinuates that Lorelai never names things, which is not true. She named Luke’s toolbox „Bert“ and named a goat on her chuppah „Gilbert“.
She also named Rory’s chick, Stella, and she mentions to Luke that she tried to name their house.
She also named the big Rooster that you turn to to find thier house.
Also, in „I Can’t Get Started“, Lorelai calls Rory’s cast ‚Casty‘, and Rory says „We have got to stop you from getting attached to inanimate objects.“ This makes it sound like Lorelai names things a lot.
In ‚Lorelai Out Of Water‘, she named all the trout that Luke brought her to practice fishing with.
