ich hab mal eine kurze Frage, Word markiert mir folgenden Satz als falsch:
The rating of a language as easy or difficult mainly results of the impression by people on how easy or difficult it is to learn the language.
Irgendwas scheint da nicht zu passen? Wie kann man es vll sprachlich besser formulieren?

also die vielen prepositions machen den Satz sehr kompliziert.
Außerdem wird m.W. ‚aus etwas resultieren‘ mit ‚to result from‘ übersetzt.
Um desweiteren die Häufung der prepositions zu vermeiden, würde ich eher schreiben:
…mainly results from some people’s impression on how easy or difficult learning a language is.
Wobei ich mit der Formulierung ‚how easy…is‘ noch nicht ganz zufrieden bin. Grüble noch…

„results of“ ist hier falsch und „by people“ ist unschön formuliert.
Formulierungsvorschlag:
Whether a language is considered easy or difficult is mainly a result of people’s impressions of how hard it is to learn that language.

mein Vorschlag waere allerdings:
The rating of a language as easy or difficult mainly results of the impression by people on how easy or difficult it is to learn the language.
People rate a language as easy or difficult mainly depending on how easy they perceive learning it/ its learning process.
Was sagen die anderen?
