Hallo,
ich habe mir vor circa 2 Wochen einen gebrauchten Switch des Typs ProCurve 1600m ersteigert. Als ich jedoch meinen Router ( Netgear TA612V) daran anschließen wollte, musste ich leider feststellen das dieser nicht erkannt wird. Natürlich habe ich mehrere Ports ausprobiert und jeweils auch einen anderen Client angeschlossen, der jedoch sofort und ohne Probleme erkannt wurde. Momentan habe ich noch einen normalen Switch (Unbekannter Typ) dazwischen gesteckt.

Gut, also mal abgesehen davon, daß das Teil antik ist - geh auf die Console und prüf mal die Einstellungen. Notfalls mal einen Factory Rest machen.
To execute the factory default reset, perform these steps:
- Using pointed objects, simultaneously press both the Reset and Clear
buttons on the front of the switch.
- Continue to press the Clear button while releasing the Reset button.
- When the Self Test LED begins to flash, release the Clear button.
The switch will then complete its self test and begin operating with the
configuration restored to the factory default settings.
