es geht darum dass one vote schon immer gezaehlt hatte, und als wein bsp. wird das oben gefuehrt, stimmts wirklich dass hitler mit einer stimme mehrheit zum fuhrer wurde?
die anderen bsp. sind ubrigens:

Imho falsch in doppelter Hinsicht. 1) war das im Juli 1921
und 2) gab es eine Stimme, die gegen Hitler war.

Even now the conflict was not fully at an end. While Hitler and
Drexler publicly demonstrated their unity at a members' meeting
on 26 July, Hitler's opponents in the leadership had his henchman
Hermann Esser expelled from the party and prepared placards
denouncing Hitler, and had printed 3,000 copies of an anonymous
pamphlet attacking him in the most denigratory terms as the agent
of sinister forces intent on damaging the party. But Hitler, who
had shown once more to great effect how irreplaceable he was
as a speaker in a meeting, packed to the last seat, in Circus
Krone on 26 July, was now in the driving seat. Now there was
no hesitancy.
This was Hitler triumphant. To tumultuous applause from the
554 paid-up members attending the extraordinary members' meeting
in the Festsaal of the Hofbräuhaus on 29 July, he defended
himself and Esser and rounded on his opponents. He boasted that
he had never sought party office, and had turned down the
chairmanship on several occasions. But this time he was prepared
to accept. The new party constitution, which Hitler had been
forced to draft hurriedly, confirmed on three separate occasions
the sole responsibility of the First Chairman for the party's
actions (subject only to the membership meeting).

na zu der Sache " 1 Stimme und Amtsprache der USA wäre deutsch…"
gebe ich mal zu bedenken,das der Präsident George Washington (1789-1797) zu dessen Amtszeit ja diese „fragliche“ Abstimmung stattfand,ein Militär und guter Freund des Generals von Steuben (Preußischer Offizier) war.
Der von Steuben hat ja einen nicht gerade klein zu nennenden „Anteil“ an der US-Geschichte…(siehe alljährliche Parade in NY ).
Von daher drängt sich schon der Gedanke auf,das man hier „auf höhere Weisung“ für (Britisches) Englisch entschieden hat…denn schließlich
war die „USA“ gerade mal 6 Jahre unabhängig und einen erneuten Krieg
konnte man sich zu diesem Zeitpunkt mit Sicherheit nicht leisten…
Und GB war zu der Zeit immer noch eine Weltmacht…
(schau dir nur mal die Liste des Kongresses an,wieviele „Militärs“ dem
anghörten…*g* )

Wahl entschied…

Wohl eher eine 55 zu 1 Abstimmung…
Gegen den Beitritt Texas als Bundesland der USA war nur einer,
merkwürdigerweise ein Enkel Benjamin Franklins…

Hier wurde vom Kongreß eine „Wahlkommission“ eingesetzt,da die Wähler mit 4.300.000 Stimmen für Tilden und 4.036.000 Stimmen für Hayes entschieden hatten.
Diese Kommission entschied mit 185 Stimmen für Hayes und 184 Stimmen für Tilden…
