Ausdruck ist. Was bedeutet er?
Anhand der letzten beiden Beispielsätze würde ich das mit
„an und für sich“ übersetzen, ergibt aber bei dem Satz mit dem Mönch keinen Sinn, wohl aber bei den beiden letzten Sätzen.
Hoffe es war hilfreich, lasse mich aber gerne eines besseren belehren.
