ich hab heute eine mail bekommen, die folgende phrase enthielt:
„… is all that and a bag of chips!“
Kann mir jemand sagen was das bedeuten könnte ?

das bedeutet in etwa „so unglaublich toll“ und kann positiv oder auch ironisch verwendet werden.
Beispiele:
Even though I had mixed expectations about my cheapo last minute holiday, it really was all that and a bag of chips. (-> war sogar besser als erwartet)
Jane’s mother always goes on and on about how smart, beautiful, ambitious and charming her daughter is. If she was all that and a bag of chips, she’d be president by now. (-> wenn sie wirklich so toll wäre …)
