Der Spruch, wenngleich in alles andere als korrektem Englisch, soll wohl Folgendes bedeuten:
»Wenn du in Los Angeles aus dem Flugzeug steigst, kümmert sich keiner einen Dreck darum, was du gemacht hast. Sie wollen wissen, was du machen wirst. Das ist eine tolle Art und Weise, das Leben zu betrachten.«

Korrekt müßte der Text lauten:
„When you get off the plane in L.A. no one gives a shit about what you’ve done; they want to know, what you’re going to do. It’s a great way to look on life.“
