Ich möchte mein BIOS vom Laptop updaten, da ich es Win2k fähig machen will. Allerdings finde ich keine Neue Version. Kann mir jemand von euch helfen/Hat schon mal danach gesucht?!
BIOS:
SystemSoft MobilePRO 1.00.06
für im Moment PIII600. Soll auch so bleiben. Ich will es Updaten, da mein Win2k keine Batterie erkennt, und der Laptop im APM-Mode alle Sekunde ne halbe hängt. Mein BIOS müsste Laut Handbuch ACPI kompatibel sein, was es allerdings scheinbar nicht is, weil Win2k es nicht erkennt.

Auf der Webseite findes du einen hinweis auf den Nachfolger
der bietet aber (noch?) keine Updates an !!
Aktuellste Version ist aus 99: 1.01.17

Das ist nicht ganz richtig. Dieses BIOS ist für Intel-Celeron-Systeme, meins hat einen PIII600.
Das Richtige BIOS für dieses Gerät ist:

oder, falls das nicht geht (Unterschiede sind nicht beschrieben):
