Janine
Letter of Motivtion
Having passed the university entrance exam I started a commercial apprenticeship that I will finish this year by the end of July. While starting the apprenticeship in the year 2007 I was also looking for a new challenge where I could be creative, produce something you can look at afterwards (and be proud of what you have done in teamwork) and to get in touch with all sorts of different people.
This was found by joining a film team of youths called “W” where people can put their own filming plans into action. Therefore I first enjoyed a short camera introducting workshop (for a VCPro Camcorder of P*) also containing audio skills.
The fist time behind the camera was a live recording on the film festival “X”. Since that time I helped producing a report of another Bavarian film festival by making the interviews, audio and camera. I also took part in other projects for example in making a report about the motivation in taking part at X (also conception), X, etc.
The X workshop offers me an unique opportunity to enhance my knowledge in filming and get more in touch with the cut. Certainly I can also contribute the new abilities to the “W” team.
Furthermore I believe that spending the hole day with people from different countries will create many new bonds. It also offers insights into other attitudes towards issues.
In detail, my objectives for this workshop in Slovenia are:
to share and learn filming knowledge
to be creative and transact my own ideas
to find multicultural friends
Being aware of filming in a foreign country is a unique and unforgettable experience which is definitely enriching ones life, I would really appreciate to get the chance to take part in this last workshop of the year 2009.

I started a commercial apprenticeship that I will finish this year by the end of July. When I started the apprenticeship in the year 2007, I also looked for a new challenge where I could be creative, produce something which can be looked at. It was also my purpose to reach something together with other people and to get in touch with all sorts of different characters.
I found this possibility in a film team of youths called “W” where people can put their own filming plans into action. Therefore I first enjoyed a short camera introducting workshop (for a VCPro Camcorder of P*) also containing audio skills.

As being aware of (was willst du denn hier auf Deutsch sagen? irgendwie passt das nicht ganz…) filming in a foreign country is a unique and unforgettable experience which will definitely enrich my life, I would really appreciate to get the chance to take part in this last workshop of the year 2009.
I passed my A-levels then I started a commercial apprenticeship that finishes at the end of July this year. At the beginning of my apprenticeship in 2007 I was also looking for a new challenge where I could be creative, produce something one can look at afterwards (and be proud of a teamwork achievment) and to communicate with all sorts of different people.
I found this opportunity by joining a film team of young people called “W”, where people can realise their own filming plans. Therefore I first participated in a short camera introduction workshop (for a VCPro Camcorder of P*) also containing audio skills, which I really enjoyed.
My first time behind the camera was a live recording at the film festival “X”. Since that time I have helped producing a report of another Bavarian film festival by doing the interviews, audio and camera work. I also took part in other projects e.g. I made a report about the motivation in participating at X (also conception), X, etc. (?)
The X workshop offers a unique opportunity for me to enhance my knowledge in filming and to obtain more experience with (film) cutting. I can certainly also contribute my new abilities to the “W” team.
Furthermore I believe that spending the whole day with people from different countries will create many new bonds. It will also offer valuable insights into a variety of attitudes towards issues. (?)
In detail, my objectives for this workshop in Slovenia are:
to share and learn filming knowledge
to be creative and present my own ideas
to find multicultural friends
Filming in a foreign country is a unique and unforgettable experience which definitely enriches one’s life, thus I would really appreciate the chance to participate in this last workshop of the year 2009. (?)
vielen lieben Dank für deine Ausbesserungen und netten Umformulierungen!
Werde ich in meinem Schreiben berücksichtigen… und hoffen, dass das mit dem Workshop klappt =)
