Ich würde gerne wissen, was das Wort dogg in diesem Zusammenhang bedeutet. Die Zeilen stammen aus dem Eminem Song „Stan“:
„But what’s this shit you said about you like to cut your wrists too?
I say that shit just clownin DOGG“

„dog“, „dawg“ oder „dogg“ heißt soviel wie „Kumpel, Freund, Kerl, Typ“. Es ist eine Black-Slang-Bezeichnung für eine männliche Person, vergleichbar mit „homie“. Es gehört zu dem Wortpärchen dog-bitch (Mann/Frau).
In dem Text fehlen leider die Satzzeichen (von der kreativen Grammatik ganz zu schweigen), aber ich versuche es mal:

Erstmal zur Begruessung: Yo, what it is, dogg?
Myriam was right. „I say that shit just clowning, (we need a comma here, actually, since someone is being addressed) dogg.“ could also be expressed thusly: „I maintain that the foolishness which you have uttered is merely a matter of bluff on your part, or perhaps a joke, old chap.“ or perhaps: „I say that that (shit) which you have uttered is just clowning around/fooling around/a bluff/mere talk/an insincere attempt to affect me emotionally/stuff and nonsense/piffle/balderdash/tommyrot on your part, pardner.“
Shit, in black slang, can be anything, incidentally. It is an all-purpose noun. Its use in this manner is not unknown among white youth, incidentally. Older whites tend to use it only for emphasis or when angered. „If you don’t stop doing stupid shit all the time, I will be sorely vexed. Now get the dog out of the refrigerator.“ Pretty much like German, nehme ich an.
