ich bin über das „Manifesto of the Persians“, bzw. „Manifiesto de las Persas“ gestolpert. (http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manifiesto_de_los_Persas)
Was in dem Manifest drin steht ist für die Frage eher irrelevant, mich interessiert die Namensgebung.
Zitat aus „Spain and the loss of America“:
„So called because its first line referred to the practice among the ancient Persians of engaging in five days of murder and plunder on the death of a king so that they would be more grateful for the order restored by his successor“
Ich finde das einen äußerst interessanten Brauch, konnte aber leider keine weiteren Quellen dazu finden. Mich würde interessieren, ob das tatsächlich der Fall war, oder ob das eine Erfindung aus dem 19. Jh. ist. Weißt du etwas darüber, bzw. hast du eine Idee, wo man da nachsehen könnte?
