Problem concerning Adaware 6.0

Hi folks!

Sorry if this may be the wrong place, but I couldn’t find any better board to place my problem. Well, I’m running Adaware 6.0 on my computer, lastly updated around Oct. 26th 2004. Last night ‚it‘ wanted to download this reference file again (a second time). I have to admit, that I didn’t really pay attention to what I just downloaded. Maybe not too good … Anyway, I wanted to do another scan just a few minutes ago, when Adaware told me that it can’t load the reference file … since the new reference file on the lavasoft server is from 26/10/02!!! Can I do something to get this program back to normal again? Cos it doesn’t detect anything without reference file. :frowning:

I’ve had this problem yesterday too, just go on http://www.lavasoft.de/ , download it manually an put it into the Ad-Aware-folder.

There is no exact link for that, but when you enter the page you just have to click on Ad-Aware 6 Build 181
Current Reference File:
01R347 26.10.2004

It should be located on the right bottom of your screen, under **Current Ad-Aware Info (i’m not screaming at you, it’s written in fat-black letters like this here).
