Hallo,
zu einer Jobanfrage habe ich folgende antwort bekommen:
„We were wondering if you might be able to confirm whether or not your degree qualification is equivalent to a UK Bachelor’s degree. We would appreciate it if you could provide this information and written verification of the status of your qualification in the form of a letter from the awarding body confirming the qualification is equivalent to a UK bachelor’s degree. Could you also tell us the title of the qualification in the language of the country in which it was awarded, please?“
worauf ich wie folgt etwa antworten will:
Thank you for your prompt reply. Unfortunately, German study of law doesn’t know a Bachelor degree.
The first degree you can obtain is the First State Examination, comparable with a Master Degree in England.
If I had studied in England, I’d have a Bachelor Degree. In Germany you get normally no degree at this level.
However, I can ask my University if they’re able to issue the requested document.
I do understand your question, and it’s really annoying that I couldn’t make my examination for some reasons.
And I don’t need to mention that I really would like to take the opportunity teaching in Japan and I’m deeply convinced that this would be a good thing for both of us.
ok so? der letzte teil gefällt mir noch nicht so ganz…
