RAM erweitern oder komplett neu?

Hi,

ich habe im PC 4 Arbeitsspeicherplätze (DDR DIMM). Zwei sind schon belegt mit 256 MB also 512MB zusammen … meine überlegung war es 2 neue 256MB noch dazu kaufen und somit auf 1 GB zu kommen. Natürlich wäre es mir lieber wenn noch mehr gehen würde aber ich weiß nicht ob das das Motherboard annimmt vill. könnt ihr mir helfen vielen dank.

Ach das hab ich noch im Internet auf der Herstellerseite gefunden.
Sagt dieser Satz schon das das Motherboard das nicht unterstützt oder nur weil es zu dieser Zeit (vor 4-6 Jahre) noch nicht mehr gab.

Die Einbauplätze für den Hauptspeicher sind für 16, 32, 64, 128 und 256 Mbyte SDRAMSpeichermodule
im DIMM-Format geeignet.

wenn du schreibst dass 32,64,… und 256 mb geeignet sind und auf dem board laufen und du 4 ramplätze hast dann macht das 4*256=1024 mb.

mehr geht dann nicht.

am besten ist es wenn du identische speicher hast. sowohl von der größe als auch von der taktfrequenz. alle vier sollten baugleich sein.

ok nur wird es warscheinlich schwer noch 2x Hyundai HYMD232 646B8J-D43 zu bekommen (hab nicht im inet gefunden)… Aber ich könnte doch einfach 2x neu gleiche kaufen. Das es dann 2x unterschiedliche ram teile sind.

eine Ausgeburt an Rechenleistung ist das System nicht mehr.
Warum willst du jetzt nachrüsten? Wenn die Systemleistung
inzwischen zu knapp geworden ist, würde eine Neuanschaffung doch
Sinn machen. Mit Hardware für ca. 350€ hättest du weit mehr Leistung
als das alte System.

Wenn das alte Teil es aber prinzipiell noch macht, würde ich dafür
nicht mehr viel investieren. Wenn du irgendwo billig 2 RAM-Riegel
findest, dann versuche es. Erheblich mehr Leistung ist kaum zu erwarten,
obwohl XP natürlich besser 1GB hätte als nur 512MB.

ich denke 2 so und so is gut. du solltest halt wissen ob es ddr1/2/3 ist. oder sdram. bei dir war es glaube ich sdram, hast du ja geschrieben, oder?
außerdem solltest du wissen ob der speicher CL1, CL2, CL3, CL4, CL5 ist.
außerdem auf die bauart Bsp. DIMM 184-PIN glaube mal das das wichtig ist. kann aber auch sein, dass das von der speicherart (DDR1/DDR2/DDR3) abhängig ist.

danke „uwi“ für deinen Tipp aber ich hab mir erst vor kurzem ein MacBookPro gekauft. Auserdem bin ich Schüler. Der alte PC tut ja noch … nur soll etwas schneller sein und nicht abstürzen wenn man maln größes SWF Browsergame oder so macht… da stockt der nähmlich schon oft …
