Ich bin - besser: wir sind auf der Suche nach einem Dolly Parton-Song. Viel wissen wir darüber leider nicht, aber: totaaal traurig, Balladig-langsam, und im Refrain kommt vor: „You are the best thing of my life“ - oder so ähnlich …
Wie ich Euch Halbgötter der Tonleitern kenne recht einfach, oder? Ich hoffe doch! Da ich nämlich nicht weiß, wie der Titel genau heißt, hilft mit auch google nicht viel weiter.

Danke für Eure schnelle Reaktion, aber leider bin ich noch nicht fündig geworden. Und auf der Fanpage finde ich zwar alle Titel, aber die gute Ms. Parton hat ja sooo viel aufgenommen; das wär´ echt Streß, alle Texte durchzugehen.

ich hatte bei google.de so gesucht:
„you are the best thing of my life“ Parton
also das Liedstück in Anführungsstriche - da kam dann das „We had it all“.
Kann es sein, dass Du Dich mit Deiner Zeile etwas verhört hast?
Ganz spontan ist mir noch „You are the sunshine of my life“ eingefallen - nicht lachen, ich weiß, dass es vielleicht abwegig ist … aber dieses Lied wurde schon von allen möglichen Leuten gecovert und kam mir Deiner Beschreibung in den Sinn.
Vielleicht weiß ja sonst noch wer was.
