habe heute eine neue Spam-Mail entdeckt, weiß jemand was dahintersteckt?

Unfortunately you must be an inhabitant of the netherlands to file your claim. Steht nicht in der Mail, wirst du aber als Antwort bekommen, wenn du deinen angeblichen Gewinn einstreichen willst. Da du aber leider keine Niederländerin bist, wirst du auf deinen Gewinn leider verzichten müssen.

Das heissst, Moment mal, da gibt’s eine kleine Lücke, die könntest du ausnutzen, um auch als Nicht-Niederländerin an die Million zu gelangen! Fallen aber leider ein paar kleine Kosten von (meine Schätzung) 2- oder 4.000 US$ an, die du Mr. Desmond McPhillip auf Nimmerwiedersehen vorschiessen müsstest.

Unverständlich von mir, wie man solchen Schwachsinn überhaupt lesen kann. Wenn sich das rumspricht in Spammerskreisen, das du sowas liest, kann es ganz schnell passieren, das du auch für BigPenis und anderes Werbung bekommst.
Also Post, die schon in der Betreffzeile ausländisch schreibt, sofort löschen. Auch dann, wenn es dein bester Freund ist. Denn auch er wird niemals in Hindi dich anschreiben!!!

Danke für die Aufklärung (an Euch beide).
Also, lesen tu ich die Dinger schon ab und zu, interessiert mich doch, welche neuen Tricks sich diese Leute ausdenken, um an mein Geld zu bekommen (das hat bis jetzt aber noch keiner geschafft, weil ich ja nicht auf die Mails reagiere). Ich finde es schon auch immer wieder ganz lustig, welche neuen Varianten der „Nigeria-Connection“-Mails es gibt. Schon erstaunlich, daß da wirklich Leute drauf reinfallen…

und genau das ist das Problem, wenn du pech hast steckt eine kleine grafik da drinne genauso wie ein counter und der verrät dann dem lieben onkel spam, das du sie gelesen hast und schwupps denkt er sich man vielleicht interessiert die sich ja auch noch für tupperware, sex seiten, und sonst einen schwachsinn.

Wenn du sie schon lesen willst dann stell dein outlook oderähnliches so ein das es die emails lediglich als Text nicht als HTML anschaut.
