Ich würde es so übersetzen, dass etwas einen mächtigen Vorrat an Drohmöglichkeiten darstellt.

tja, ich bleibe bei meinen Übersetzungen immer gerne an der ursprünglichen Wortwahl, sofern es auch im Deutschen Sinn macht. Wörtliche würde es ja bedeuten: „Bedrohungsvorrat“. Bei „hohes Bedrohungspotenzial“ stört mich, dass nicht mehr daraus hervorgeht, ob es sich um eine Ansammlung von Faktoren handelt, die man als Drohung verwenden kann. Da würde ich mir eher einen einzelnen Faktor vorstellen, der aber ein sehr starkes Bedrohungspotenzial hat. Ich sehe da schon Unterschiede in der Bedeutung. Aber ich denke von der Richtung her ist es schon klar

In dem obigen Zusammenhang würde ich es mit „gewaltigen Vorrat an Bedrohungen“ oder auch „Drohenden Gefahren“ (für das Seelenheil) übersetzen.
