Irren ist eben doch nicht immer männlich, denn der Song heißt zweifelsohne …
Stay STAND by me 
und ist übrigens aus dem Jahr 1961. „Stay by me“ ist von Annie Lennox. Solltest Du an weiteren Versionen von „Stand by me“ interessiert sein, Bel, kannst Du mal mit folgenden drei Interpretennamen weiter suchen: Pennywise, 4 The Cause und John Lennon.
Und hier ist die Übersetzung (nicht von mir):
