SUSE Linux 8.0 LILO im MBR neben XP

Hallo Spezialisten,

ich habe ein Problem mit einer Suse-Installation (V8.0). Zunächst zu
den
Randbedingungen:

  1. Platte 40 GB, davon erste Partition ca. 4GB mit WinXP.
  2. Platte Suse-Linux installiert (1,6GB)
  3. Lilo im MBR der ersten Platte installiert.

Nun zu meiner Frage an Euch:
Ich habe seit der Installation beim booten die Fehlermeldung L01 01 01… auf
dem Monitor stehen. Nun komme ich allerdings mit den Groups-Hinweisen
Anderer nicht klar, da die Lösung wohl sehr individuell zu sein scheint.
Für Eure Hilfe währe ich sehr dankbar, da ich den Rechner für meine
Diplomarbeit bald möglichst brauche.

Falls du nur XP starten willst, das müsste doch mit der Installations-CD von XP gehen (oder mit einer Startdiskette).

Da hast Du recht, das funktioniert. Allerdings ist das keine besonders befiedigende Lösung. Ich würde schon ganz gerne Lilo dafür einsetzen.
Hast Du bzw. habt Ihr sonst noch einen guten Tip??

Hallo Bjoern,

wie waere es, wenn Du mit SuSE-Tools oder/und_danach mit Windows-Tools den MBR wieder herstellst fuer Windows allein, anschliessend von SuSE-CD-Rom bootest, das bereits instalierte SuSE-Linux hochfahren laesst und dann noch einmal LILO installierst, sollte (bestimmt) klappen,
