Ich kann keine Systemwiederherstellung durchführen, denn obwohl der gesamte Prozess scheinbar tadellos abläuft, erscheint am Ende die „Erfolgsmeldung“:
Die Systemdateien und Einstellungen des Computers wurden nicht geändert. Die Originalkopie des Verzeichnisses konnte nicht aus dem Wiederherstellungspunkt extrahiert werden.

Den Dienst VSS (Volumeschattenkopie) habe ich vor dem Start der Systemwiederherstellung manuell gestartet.
Der Quellordner %SystemRoot%\registration hat auf meinem System erstaunlicherweise überhaupt gefehlt, und ich habe ihn von einem anderen Win7-PC hereinkopiert, was keinen Erfolg gebracht hat.
Die Log-Datei %systemRoot%\Logs\CBS.log, die den Vorgang protokolliert, nimmt auf das Problem keinen Bezug:
