es geht wohl um das Buch „Railsea“?
In dieser Besprechung gibt es eine Erläuterung:
„Salvaged thriddies" turn out to be something like videotapes. All of this is dug up by the Cousteau-ian „salvors“ armed with ropes and cranes.“
