Also, bei den underdogs gibts das spiel. Is inzwischen wohl schon abandonware, sonst gäbs auf ne Frage nach „herunterladen“ wohl gar keine Antwort.
Patch: keine Ahnung.

ich habe TT mal vor einiger Zeit mit XP zum Laufen gebracht. Jedoch hab’ ich die Originalversion (CD-Rom) installiert gehabt. Vielleicht hilft Dir die Seite http://www.ttdpatch.net/
Zum Patch hab ich folgendes gefunden (aus einer Readme-Datei):
How do I run TTD/TTDPatch on Windows NT/2000/XP?
• Only the Windows version of TTD works at this time. You have this version if you see the „Fish UK“ logo at the title screen.
• You need TTDPatch 1.8 or later
• You need to enable the Windows 2000 patches (ursprünglicher Link war: http://ttdpatch.com/manual/Windows-2000-XP-compatibi…). Simply put the line „win2k on“ in the file ttdpatch.cfg.
• If you have problems running the game fullscreen, or if you have no music/sound, try setting ttdpatchw.exe (and/or TTD itself) to run in Windows 95 compatibility mode (see below). For information on the compatibility mode in Windows 2000, read the related Microsoft support article.
• If you get a message saying „Unable to access Transport Tycoon Deluxe CD! $“, you forgot to tell TTDPatch to apply the Windows 2000 patches (either run „ttdpatchw -2“ or put „win2k on“ in the configuration file.)
• If you get the message, „Create process failed“, you need to delete the file TTDLOADW.OVL and run TTDPatch again. If you still get that message, try reinstalling TTD.

Transport Tycoon findest du unter http://www.wisims.gamesweb.com/oldwisims.php
Schau dir doch auch mal Simutrans (http://www.simutrans.de) an. Es ist ähnlich aufgebaut wie Transport Tycoon, Freeware und genau so gut (finde ich…).

PS: Bin mir auch nicht sicher, ob Transport Tycoon bereits Abandon ist.

Warum denn nicht? man kann ja auch gerade neu erschienene Titel runterladen (man muss nur wissen wo)

Ja, aber dann belasse es bitte auch beim Wissen, denn alles andere gehört hier nicht hin
