habe hier noch ein paar Stolpersteine beim Anfertigen meines engl. Lebenslaufs. (soll british english werden)
Vielleicht kann wer helfen?
grammar school für Gymnasium > ok?
Abitur > university-entrance diploma oder besser general qualification for university entrance > oder ist das beides nicht das gelbe vom Ei?
Fachschaft (also an einer Uni) > ich habe bis jetzt einfach kein passendes Wort gefunden, am besten finde ich noch „student representation“ ?
große Problem: das Datum. ich werde es wohl nie lernen )
wenn ich z.B. 08/2009 - 12/2009 angebe > versteht das ein Engländer?
und noch ein Bonus: Urlaubssemester „semester on leave“ ist das ok?
Da Du fragst, ‚versteht das ein Engländer?‘, geh ich mal davon aus, dass der cv nach England gehen soll, nicht in die USA:

‚gap‘ semester (blabla)
the blabla in brackets mentioning how you spent that term, ie what you were doing.

Well, actually I will send the CV to a german company and the job is located in Germany as well.
I thought I will be good just to stick to one way - the english or the american way.
