We are an English family who fell in love with Bavaria, and decided to move here. We are taking over a lovely Pension, located near Regen, to start operating in March, 2012.
We are a little nervous about the language issues, since only 1 of us speak very little German. Because we haven’t moved to Germany yet, we are not sure how to find someone now. We would love to find a suitable person to start with us, when we move there in March.
Would it be difficult to find a German person who speaks good English, and would want to work in a Pension set in a ski-resort and a beautiful forest? Of course that person could be any other nation too, but if he/she is German their German will be good enough to teach us too…may be 
We would like a friendly, energetic person to come and work with us, and provide support with the general day to day running of the business, such as answering the phones, and checking people in etc.

that sounds good that an English family fell in love with Bavaria. I am living in the Northern part of Germany and therefore my experience with the Bavarian part of Germany is rather small. What I can propose to you is to contact " Agentur für Arbeit" in that region where you want to start your business. There may also be some internet portals which could be helpful, but sorry I cannot tell you their names.
I wish you a good start in March in Bavaria and I hope you will find a nice person to help you at the beginning.

I live in Dortmund, which is rather far away from Bavaria. The best thing would be to put an advertisement in a local newspaper. I hope you will find someone who lives closer to your pension and might help you.
