Ich will dieses Jahr noch in Kanada WWOOFen. Auf der Seite der Botschaft steht, es gibt keine Working Holiday Visa mehr, die kanadische WWOOF-Seite sagt aber, man bräuchte kein work permit um dort zu WWOOFen und verweisen auf den Gesetzestext dazu:
„There may be other types of unpaid short-term work where the work is really incidental to the main reason that the foreign student is in Canada and is not a competitive activity, even though non-monetary valuable consideration is received. For instance, if a foreign student wishes to stay on a family farm and work part time just for room and board for a short period (i.e., 1-4 weeks), this would not be considered an activity which requires a work permit.“
andererseits steht auf der selben Site
„[A work permit is required for] Any activity which might be considered ‘competitive’ within the Canadian labour market, even if unpaid“
Ich würde gerne diesen Sommer ein paar Monate (April bis September, macht also 5) dort hingehen. Meint ihr das geht? Kann überhaupt jemand kontrollieren, wie lange ich gearbeitet habe bzw. wird’s gemacht?
Das normale Touristenvisum dürfte 3 Monate gültig sein, kann man das auch verlängern?
Ich weiß, das ist eine ziemlich spezielle Frage, aber vll hat ja jemand Erfahrung auf dem Gebiet…?!
