so far I found for my external DVD-Rom from Acer only the drivers for Windows 95,98 and 2000.
Is there a possibility to get that model running under XP?
Are there any possible Drivers around?
Would be nice to get some help!

what do you mean by ‚external‘? with USB-Switch?
normally there is no need for special drivers.
You just have to have the patch level of SP2 with XP.

That DVD-Rom doesn’t support USB! It is running via PCMCIA!

well, try the W2000-Driver. it should work with XP as well
